Print Spooler Crash After Windows Update KB5034441
Windows Update KB5034441 causes the Print Spooler service to crash on some machines after restart.
Details
**Symptoms:**
- Print jobs fail silently
- Print Spooler service stops after restart
- Error in Event Viewer: Event ID 7034, Print Spooler terminated unexpectedly
**Root Cause:** Printer driver incompatibility introduced by this update.
**Permanent Fix:** Microsoft has released a patched driver package — deploy via Windows Update or manually download from Microsoft.
💡 Workaround
1. Open `services.msc` → Stop Print Spooler
2. Delete all files in `%WINDIR%\System32\spool\PRINTERS`
3. Start Print Spooler
4. If it stops again: check for driver conflict — reinstall the printer driver
